The Spirit of the Maker at Maker's Mark Distillery

The tour through the distillery is very interesting and informative. The last barrel house exhibits Dale Chihuly’s hand blown glass ceiling which is 36 feet long and 6 feet wide. It’s made of 1,300 individual pieces of glass. The blue glass represents water, amber and green for corn and wheat, and red for Maker's Mark famous red wax. Altogether, it weighs approx. 1,875 pounds and is backlit. An incredible piece of art and a must see for sure.
