Cumberland Falls is a 60 ft. tall and 125 ft. wide waterfall known as the Niagara of the south. Just above the falls is Gatliff Bridge. It’s a two-lane arched bridge built with Kentucky sandstone. A second waterfall near Cumberland Falls is Eagle Falls. It’s very beautiful and the hike is around 1 ½ to 2 miles one way. A third waterfall in this area is Dog Slaughter Falls.
